Engelwood Elementary offers students many different musical opportunities during and outside school hours. In the classroom, the focus is on stimulating each student’s intellectual and social growth through music. We do this through activities that blend music theory, with higher order thinking skills that benefit and include mathematics, reading, history, culture, physical movement, dance, acting, character education, and storybooks, with singing and playing musical instruments.
