Good Afternoon Cardinal Families!
We hope that you all are staying safe and making the most of our Distance Learning experience.
We have been given permission by the District to begin distributing student belongings from the classroom. Our staff family have been working diligently to pack student items. In order to distribute the items safely and efficiently, the distribution process will occur in the same manner as the “Grab and Go” food distribution model. Those coming to pick up belongings will remain in their vehicles. If you have to walk, we will have a table available; however, social distancing guidelines must be followed.
To minimize traffic and to stay in compliance with District expectations, Engelwood Elementary will distribute items by grade level using the following schedule:
May 19th Pre-k and Kindergarten 10am-1pm
May 20th 1st grade and 2nd grade 10am-1pm
May 21st 3rd grade 10am-1pm
May 22nd 4th grade and families with multiple students 10am-1pm
We also plan on celebrating our 5th grade Class of 2020 on Wednesday, May 27th. Details will be sent to those students in a separate message. Families of 5th grade students may pick up belongings on that day.
Summer Grab and Go Meals:
Families, Engelwood will not be distributing meals this summer through the cafeteria. Schools close by will continue the grab and go style that they have been offering since Spring Break. Our closest school for distribution are Dover Shores, Azalea Park, and Forsyth Woods. We hope you all have a great summer!
